Is the Power Wheels Dune Racer a Good Gift for Your Child?

The idea of getting a Power Wheel for your children is a good one if you want to encourage two or more children to play together. This toy if perfect for two pals wheeling around together and it can also be great fun when entertaining other children and the neighborhood kids. The kids can take turns when it comes to being the passenger and the driver. Your child will be the hit of the neighborhood with this awesome toy! The best age range for the Fisher Price Power Wheels is between 36 months old and 7 years old. A child under the age of 3 is not a best fit for this toy as it could be dangerous for children this small.

The Dune Racer is typically pretty easy to maneuver and most children do not have a problem with this. The smaller the child, the more difficult it could potentially be for them to keep their feet on the pedals but this will become easier as they practice more and learn the skills of driving the Power Wheel.

Of course, if you are like most parents, your main concern is probably that of safety when it comes to buying your children any type of motorized toy and the Dune Racer is certainly no exception. Fisher Price is a well-known and trusted company when it comes to safe toys for children. They have taken great care by constructing a wide vehicle which would make it very difficult to tip over. The various models of Power Wheels also ride very low so it would be highly unusual that a child would fall out of the vehicle while it was moving. There are also safety bars located on either side of the Dune Race, making it even more unlikely for your child to fall out.
